On November 10, the Planning Commission granted approval for a new hotel to be built in the vicinity of Avenue P-4 and Fifth Street West, situated south of the current Embassy Suites hotel in Palmdale. The proposed hotel will be four stories tall and will consist of 107 rooms. Additionally, the plans presented to the Commission indicate that a drive-through coffee shop will be constructed adjacent to the hotel. The new hotel will be part of the Cambria brand, which is owned by Choice Hotels.
